Colton Sorensen is heavily involved in musical projects, including Southern Virginia University's A capella group, Accolade, in which he's a Bass and a Vocal Percussionist, and Southern Virginia University's Chamber Singers and Men's Chorus, where he sings Bass 2. He is a Music Major, and has also been involved with Commercial Music at SVU and in other mediums, including a Rock Band.

Colton has also done several A Cappella arrangements of songs for SVU's premiere a cappella group, Accolade, and many have been major successes with the group and its audiences. Three of his arrangements, together in a single set, will debut at ICCA, the largest a cappella competition in the world, in February.
